Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using modern web technologies and cloud-native architectures.
- Lead technical design discussions and make architectural decisions for complex features and systems.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, product teams, design teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Lead technical initiatives that improve system performance, scalability, maintainability, and team productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while driving monitoring, observability, and proactive system health management.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and advanced Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
- Integrate AI agents and AI/ML capabilities into production applications.
- Contribute to technical documentation and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Expertise in at least one backend language including C#, Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Expertise in at least one modern frontend framework including Angular, React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Strong experience designing and implementing APIs, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with relational databases including SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
- Hands-on Databricks experience using Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and scalable data pipelines.
- Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query, custom visualizations, and embedded dashboards.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, DevOps practices, cloud platforms preferably Azure, infrastructure as code, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred experience with test-driven development, behavior-driven development, Azure services, security practices, performance optimization, observability tools, open-source contributions, technical communities, or commercial real estate and workplace experience domains.
