Responsibilities
- Conceptualise, design, and develop optical communications solutions integrating in-house components and commercial off-the-shelf products.
- Develop middleware and control planes that interface software applications with optical appliances.
- Conduct research and development on current and emerging optical communication systems to address evolving security challenges.
- Evaluate new products and optical communications technologies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot optical communication network issues.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or Python.
- Familiarity with message brokers, REST API design, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of communication systems theory, signal processing concepts, and optical transport technologies.
- Experience with laboratory instruments such as spectrum analysers, optical scopes, and network testers.
- Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.
