Base Salary
$150k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build core backend systems for AI agents and healthcare workflows.
- Develop infrastructure for multi-step, asynchronous workflows with conditional logic.
- Manage high-stakes integrations with EHRs and legacy healthcare platforms via APIs.
- Create internal abstractions and tooling for rapid deployment of AI assistants.
- Implement and maintain HIPAA-compliant backend architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and scaling backend systems in production environments.
- Strong expertise in APIs, relational databases, async workflows, and distributed systems.
- High ownership and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Bonus: experience with security, authentication, or HIPAA compliance.
