Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative enterprise data architectures.
- Lead design reviews, architecture review sessions, solution documentation, and traceability from requirements through implementation.
- Provide strategic leadership and alignment across business, engineering, architecture, governance, operations, infrastructure, and product stakeholders.
- Design and implement metadata integration strategies, automated ingestion workflows, and centralized metadata repositories.
- Partner with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Risk teams to embed responsible AI, data governance, compliance, and accountability.
- Lead enablement, change management, and adoption programs for data stewards, analysts, and AI practitioners.
- Evaluate new technologies and manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and external partners.
- Design and implement data observability frameworks across ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers, and champion observability adoption across teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution design, preferably in financial services or asset management.
- 3–5 years of experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, and integration technologies.
- Hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale.
- Experience with software development life cycle and agile or iterative methodologies.
- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements, including security, privacy, and GDPR.
- Experience with infrastructure automation through Terraform, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data observability implementation and integration is desirable.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or Agile are preferred.
- MBA or commensurate relevant work experience.
