Base Salary

$87k - $182k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement software deliverables throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Develop and modify front-end and back-end application code using Java, Python, JavaScript, and Oracle databases.
  • Implement software enhancements and new functionality based on Government-directed requirements.
  • Troubleshoot software defects and develop solutions.
  • Analyze and improve system database performance.
  • Mitigate software security vulnerabilities and support cybersecurity compliance.
  • Support application release pipelines in development environments.
  • Use Jira to track code and database changes.
  • Research AI applications, data structures, algorithms, and data analysis techniques to improve AI models and develop solutions.
  • Analyze system architecture and propose technology upgrades.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support financial and information technology audit compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience with Java, Python, similar programming languages, and/or PL/SQL development.
  • Experience with AWS AI services, modern AI frameworks, and AI considerations including security, privacy, and regulatory requirements for AI features.
  • Experience defining and designing complex requirements and troubleshooting effectively.
  • Ability to support off-hours and weekend coverage as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain an Interim/Secret clearance; current active Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS RDS for Oracle, strong database development, Python frameworks such as Django, Agile work using Jira, or Federal/Department of Defense customers is preferred.
  • Experience with DoD Financial and PPBE data and processes is preferred.
  • Security+ certification is preferred.
  • Strong planning, organizational, communication, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
