Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, Italian Speaking
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture, development, and deployment of agentic AI solutions for strategic enterprise customers.
- Design and ship Agentforce systems involving agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, deterministic guardrails, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Own data modeling, processing pipelines, and data readiness across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
- Resolve complex data integration, model deployment, orchestration, and performance issues in production deployments.
- Build agent-performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
- Develop proofs of concept and MVPs, codify reusable patterns and playbooks, and mentor engineers through code reviews and pair sessions.
- Provide technical leadership on strategically critical deployments and communicate field insights to Product and Engineering.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer business challenges into deployable agentic AI solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering and technical delivery experience with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
- Expertise in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with familiarity with the others.
- Production experience integrating LLMs, using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, and applying prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
- Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics, including proficiency with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Deep Salesforce platform expertise with Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience mentoring technical talent and creating reusable frameworks, playbooks, or internal tooling.
- Clear communication with engineers, customer architects, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Business-level proficiency in Italian and English.
- Computer Science degree or related degree.
- Preferred: Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Agentforce Specialist, or System Architect.
- Preferred: familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD practices, observability tooling, or data governance frameworks.
- Preferred: experience architecting multi-cloud, multi-system enterprise AI solutions for Global 500 customers.
- Preferred: enterprise software roadmap influence, open-source contributions, technical writing, or conference presentations.
