Responsibilities

Define and influence the direction of a small team in target tracking and state estimation.
Architect, maintain, and evolve complex software systems.
Prototype and deploy algorithms for tracking and multi-sensor data fusion.
Develop high-performance Rust software for real-time systems.
Design and implement robust filters and probabilistic reasoning systems.
Apply software design patterns to manage technical debt.
Analyze system performance using simulations and statistical techniques.
Drive customer success by customizing algorithms for mission-critical use cases.
Integrate technologies into the software development lifecycle.
Translate technical progress into actionable insights for stakeholders.

8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
Experience managing and evolving software architecture in production environments.
At least 2+ years working on a single codebase or product.
Experience in Rust programming language.
Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and statistical modeling.
Solid understanding of applied mathematics, including linear algebra and probability.
Knowledge of signal processing techniques for interpreting sensor data.
Familiarity with big data pipelines and NoSQL databases.
Ability to engineer robust systems for estimation theory and adaptive filtering.
Demonstrated ability to work across development lifecycles.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
