Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise next-generation firewalls and cloud-native security services.
  • Provide escalation support, deep packet analysis, network fault isolation, and root-cause analysis during test executions.
  • Build AI-driven agentic security workflows and automation frameworks for test generation, failure triage, debugging, log analysis, and productivity.
  • Develop and execute system testing, product security testing, automation, and validation for next-generation firewall technologies.
  • Use host-based tools and traffic generators to replicate production environments, stress-test firewall capabilities, validate functionality, and identify network anomalies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to file critical software bugs, conduct design reviews, and define future product features.

Requirements

  • 10–14 years of technical experience in networking, security, firewall technologies, cloud, virtualization, or related engineering areas.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs such as GPT and Claude for test automation.
  • Experience with Python-based AI libraries, REST API integrations, Docker, and containers.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL-VPN, NAT, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Practical experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware ESXi.
  • Experience using Linux and Windows host tools and traffic generators to test firewall functionality and reproduce production environments.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot application, operating-system, networking, and platform issues through root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, communicate technical risks and trade-offs, and translate customer issues into product improvements.
  • CCNP or CCIE certification is strongly preferred.
