Base Salary

$192k - $252k/yr

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert across business and technical domains.
Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
Own medium- to large-scale features or infrastructure projects from technical design through completion.
Build reliable and maintainable applications, infrastructure, and interfaces.
Collaborate with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems.
Lead and mentor engineers and engineering teams, establish best practices, and set team direction.
Ensure delivery of large or complex technology capabilities across one or more domains.
Facilitate collaboration, identify project risks, and mitigate risks to deliver on time.
Drive functional-group objectives and organization-wide project outcomes.
Influence technical and product roadmap prioritization and process improvements.
Identify and reduce failure domains and build software that minimizes maintenance and failure impact.
Guide development of Service-Level Objectives for team-owned systems.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations and perform other assigned duties.

At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 5 years leading cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
At least 5 years leading technical contributions and improving the quality of team output.
At least 5 years applying computer science concepts in a team setting.
At least 5 years setting and enforcing standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
At least 5 years leading technical teams, including mentoring and training junior engineers.

Hybrid schedule based in the Tempe, Arizona office with three in-office days per week, including Thursdays, and two flexible office days.
