Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain integration solutions across the enterprise application portfolio.
- Design, build, and test interfaces between disparate systems and support production solutions.
- Participate in and potentially coordinate workflow-related issues.
- Define and document requirements using structured analysis methods.
- Coordinate data analysis and design training sessions as needed.
- Analyze healthcare or business workflows, processes, data, and needs; make recommendations; and organize technical work.
- Collaborate with departments, vendors, and customers and communicate technical information effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or seven additional years of related healthcare or information technology experience in lieu of the degree.
- At least one year of experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
- Required knowledge of system development life cycle practices, database management, and PeopleSoft development and integration tools.
- Required experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode API, Integration Broker, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XSL, WebLogic, Apache, and Tuxedo.
- Preferred experience with Cloverleaf, Sybase e*Biz Impact, OpenLink, OpenEngine, WebSphere, and Microsoft EventHUB/Biztalk.
- Preferred experience with C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, application development, SQL-based database systems, and SQL queries.
- Preferred experience with Sun Products, Quovodax, and Neon applications.
- Knowledge of clinical or business/revenue-cycle workflows in healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of MS Project, Access, and other project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, planning, problem-solving, presentation, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, interpret data and processes, compose written material, perform basic math and statistical functions, and work accurately under pressure.
- Must complete applicable LLUH proficiency projects and exams within the initial 90-day probationary period, with additional system certifications potentially required.
