Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Own major product initiatives end to end, from initial design through delivery coordination across Backend, Frontend, and Product teams.
- Establish and drive team-level practices for code quality, testing strategies, and CI/CD processes.
- Analyze and debug complex technical challenges across the stack to support long-term system reliability.
- Coordinate risks and dependencies across multiple teams to ensure seamless feature delivery.
- Implement preventive and high-performance solutions to address scalability bottlenecks.
- Mentor engineers and elevate the team’s technical standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale backend development with strong Java expertise.
- Experience mentoring engineers.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and complex problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and scalable backend architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and data-oriented applications and APIs is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical ideas and collaborating across teams.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
