Base Salary
$220k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the release process across Signals, K7/Nav, and Legacy engineering programs.
- Coordinate the DevOps and Platform, Security and Compliance, MLOps, and Fleet and Release Automation pillars.
- Arbitrate priorities across programs when shared-platform resources are constrained.
- Participate in the Center of Engineering Excellence council with program leads and the Signals Senior Architect.
- Establish and maintain Engineering Services standards, tooling, and SDLC practices.
- Remain hands-on as an individual contributor while the team is small.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including staff- or principal-level release management or platform leadership.
- Experience running release processes across multiple programs simultaneously.
- Comfort operating as a hands-on individual contributor rather than a people manager.
- Strong systems thinking and cross-team facilitation skills.
- Track record of standing up new engineering functions.
- Prior experience in a Center of Engineering Excellence or engineering standards council is preferred.
- Experience with IoT, robotics, or connected-device release management is preferred.
- Experience with SOC 2 or comparable regulated environments is preferred.
