Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and execute the technical, cost, and schedule performance of a team’s engineering scope.
- Plan tasks, create milestones and schedules, track earned value, and manage competing priorities.
- Design, prototype, develop, integrate, test, validate, maintain, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software and system capabilities.
- Develop software using C and C++ across requirements, design, development, test, validation, and maintenance phases.
- Write and maintain software architecture, design, and application documentation.
- Provide technical direction, build team capabilities, lead technical solutions, and interface with internal and external customers.
- Participate in product reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
- Support proposal efforts and maintain knowledge of the team’s financial status and planning.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience are typically required.
- Experience developing systems and applications with an object-oriented programming language, particularly C++.
- Experience working with a Unix/Linux operating system.
- Experience with data structures, software design principles, coding algorithms, and high-concurrency or distributed systems.
- Experience leading or managing a team.
- An active Secret Department of Defense security clearance is required before starting and must be active on day one.
- Preferred qualifications include strong communication, technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills; customer interfacing and technical solution leadership; and radar modeling and simulation or missile defense experience.
- Preferred qualifications include radar design and analysis, systems engineering development, Shell scripting, Python scripting, Git, software debuggers, Product Owner certification or registration, Earned Value Management knowledge, and experience with Java, C#, or Ada.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
