Base Salary
$240k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build systems that enable autonomous buildings to operate and communicate intelligently
- Work directly with customers to develop and own product features end-to-end from design through deployment
- Improve the scalability and reliability of core infrastructure
- Propose and implement improvements to architecture and design patterns
- Collaborate with product and design to turn AI capabilities into user-facing experiences
- Continuously ship features and improvements in an environment deploying more than 100 times per day
- Apply engineering best practices in testing, observability, and continuous integration
- Balance speed and quality while iterating on production systems
Requirements
- Startup mindset with strong ownership, urgency, and pragmatism in building and shipping software
- Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance
- Bias for action and ability to move quickly from idea to implementation
- Solid understanding of system design and scalable architecture principles
- At least 1 year of experience with Java, C#, Go, or Python
- Willingness to work in person at the office 4–5 days per week
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven distributed systems is preferred
- Understanding of machine learning and data is preferred
- AWS experience is preferred
