Base Salary
$240k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build systems for autonomous buildings to operate and communicate intelligently.
- Develop and own new product features end-to-end from design to deployment.
- Improve the scalability and reliability of core infrastructure.
- Propose and implement improvements to architecture and design patterns.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create user-facing AI experiences.
- Continuously ship new features and improvements in a high-deployment environment.
- Apply engineering best practices in testing, observability, and continuous integration.
- Balance speed and quality while iterating quickly on production systems.
Requirements
- Startup mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance.
- Bias for action, moving quickly from idea to implementation.
- Solid understanding of system design and scalable architecture principles.
- 1+ years of experience in Java, C#, Go, or Python.
- Willingness to work in person at the office 4-5 days a week.
- Nice to have: understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Nice to have: understanding of machine learning and data.
- Nice to have: AWS experience.
