Base Salary

$147k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build components and services for a new policy evaluation platform and existing critical Ring-0 services.
  • Work on large-scale architectural and reliability initiatives under authorization in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Design, code reliably, and launch features.
  • Participate in metrics, documentation, and operations activities beyond coding.
  • Drive projects and cross-team partnerships independently.
  • Reduce technical, design, and implementation ambiguity with team leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining software using C++.
  • Experience designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems.
  • Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with database query languages such as SQL and data modeling techniques.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: experience designing or implementing cloud-platform Identity and Access Management systems.
  • Preferred: experience with scalable distributed enterprise systems, highly available and high-load services, and low-latency distributed services.
  • Preferred: experience using AI tools for software development, including code generation, code completion, or debugging.

Benefits

  • US base salary of $147000-$210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
