Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services and APIs for Browserbase products.
- Develop reliable service architectures with a focus on clarity and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather requirements for APIs.
- Own projects from scoping and design through implementation and maintenance.
- Enhance developer experience with high-quality documentation and tooling.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues in production systems.
- Contribute to team standards for service architecture and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building backend services and APIs using Go or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with HTTP/REST, WebSockets, RPC, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/Docker, and cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and schema design.
- Comfort with automated testing and performance tuning.
- Bonus: experience with SDK development and observability tooling.
