Base Salary
$137k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across subscription management, payment processing, entitlements, invoicing, and internal billing tooling.
- Develop, review, and maintain Go backends and TypeScript/React frontends, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Architect and specify systems precisely enough for reliable AI-assisted implementation.
- Collaborate with product, design, data engineering, finance, and business operations.
- Own features through design, implementation, deployment, and production operation.
- Handle internal billing support requests across the company.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building production SaaS applications.
- Strong Go backend development experience.
- At least 2 years of TypeScript and React experience.
- Experience with payment and billing platforms; Stripe is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Postgres, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Ability to write clear technical specifications and design documents.
- Experience or genuine interest in billing, payments, subscriptions, or financial systems.
- Strong written English for an async-first environment.
- Security-aware engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
