Base Salary
$158k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build machine-learning solutions and infrastructure that operate at internet scale, use models optimized with scientists, integrate with distributed components, and are validated in production worldwide.
- Design, code, troubleshoot, and support scalable machine-learning pipelines and online serving systems.
- Collaborate with applied scientists to optimize machine-learning models and infrastructure and implement end-to-end solutions.
- Solve distributed-systems and ad-serving problems under extreme scale and strict latency constraints.
- Develop innovative advertising identity products with senior engineers, scientists, product management, business development, and partner teams.
- Make data-driven product prioritization decisions and evaluate emerging AWS technologies for AdTech use cases.
- Own the systems and solutions created, including their technical direction and operational support.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object-Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
