Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize generative models for international languages.
- Own the generative modeling pipeline from data preprocessing and architecture design through training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Build text-generation technologies including context-augmented rewriting, safety-controlled composition, free-form transformation, and personalized interactions.
- Implement optimizers, regularization methods, loss functions, algorithm optimizations, and model-training improvements.
- Address accuracy and performance bottlenecks in distributed training and inference.
- Process large datasets and establish automated synthesis, training, and evaluation pipelines across internal and external APIs.
- Reproduce and revise state-of-the-art research experiments and benchmark model-compression methods.
- Present plans, progress, results, and demos regularly and concisely.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of machine learning expertise.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Objective-C, or Swift.
- Experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Thorough experience with NLP algorithms and applications, including tokenization, language modeling, text decoding, and text classification.
- Experience programming high-quality code across complex and large repositories.
- Experience with multimodal modeling.
- Experience with NLP modeling for Indian languages is desired.
