Responsibilities
- Build a real-time, collaborative financial workspace for teams.
- Design and develop a scalable, maintainable API.
- Integrate the platform with financial data providers.
- Create simple abstractions that support an adaptable, frictionless user experience.
- Handle company and customer data securely and compliantly.
- Balance performance and pragmatism in architectural decisions.
- Implement designs, simplify product features, and provide leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
- Experience developing software across frontend and backend domains is relevant; expertise in every listed technology is not required.
- Experience with a functional language, Rails, Django, React, TypeScript, or JavaScript is helpful but not mandatory.
- Ability to make architectural decisions balancing performance and pragmatism.
- Ability to evaluate designs, simplify product features, and understand when to apply or depart from best practices.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, collaborate, mentor others, and remain open to alternative ideas.
