Base Salary
$139k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand platform requirements and design efficient solutions.
- Develop, implement, and integrate high-quality, maintainable platform software components.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure platform stability and reliability.
- Work with architecture teams on platform architecture and design principles.
- Document technical specifications and support platform-related queries.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Optimize platform performance and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of software development experience focused on platform engineering.
- Proficiency in Go and scripting experience with Python or Bash.
- Strong understanding of software design principles.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, cloud computing platforms, and containerization.
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
- Understanding of cloud networking, including L4/L7 load balancers.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
