Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to promote code quality, testability, efficiency, and adherence to available technology guidelines.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Implement solutions in specialized machine learning areas using ML infrastructure, model optimization, and data processing.
- Productionize multimodal Generative AI shopping features across Google Search, Commerce, Ads, Chrome, and YouTube.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of software development experience with an advanced degree.
- One year of experience with ML infrastructure, such as model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, or data processing.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: Experience with image processing, computer vision, or machine learning applications.
