Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance infrastructure for real-time object detection and tracking using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Develop automated triage systems that prioritize and categorize sensor or project data and escalate critical events.
- Architect multi-agent or agentic workflows to coordinate data collection across concurrent projects.
- Lead and mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering standards for MLOps and production pipelines.
- Collaborate with project managers to convert client requirements into actionable AI/ML roadmaps.
- Oversee the full data lifecycle, including acquisition, cleaning, and high-fidelity labeling.
- Manage AI/ML models across development and production environments, including versioning and deployment architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in machine learning.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or technical lead capacity.
- Proven experience developing computer vision models for object tracking, including CNNs or Transformers, and real-time video analytics.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for backend deployment.
- Experience overseeing specialized data collections and the full data lifecycle.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- U.S. citizenship and a current Secret clearance or higher.
- Preferred: experience with agentic AI frameworks and multiple separate or stacked models.
- Preferred: experience with model versioning, source code management, and deployment architecture in development and production environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with federal or defense-sector compliance.
