Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data ingestion pipelines.
- Develop analytics systems and microservices for business and product analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and marketing teams.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Enable analytics that drive business decisions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or backend software engineering.
- Proficiency in developing data pipelines or microservices using Scala, Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Beam or Apache Spark is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehouses such as BigQuery or Redshift.
- Comfortable working in cloud environments like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with streaming systems like Apache Kafka is a plus.
- Strong focus on code quality and maintainable solutions.
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
