Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality Java and SQL software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software code meets design constraints.
- Develop and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with related systems.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, validating outputs through review and testing.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve coding practices, software applications, and system architecture.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle knowledge and support application resiliency, security, and operational stability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Extensive Java experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, code maintenance, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining Java and SQL code in a large corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency expectations, and safe team practices.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and solid understanding of application resiliency and security.
- Preferred familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, GCP, IAM, identity provider platforms, PingFederate, Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka.
