Responsibilities
- Lead the roadmap, architecture, and technical direction for centralized authentication and authorization platforms using Keycloak.
- Design, build, and maintain custom Keycloak SPI extensions, providers, and high-performance Java services.
- Architect SCIM-based identity provisioning, audit logging, and SIEM security-monitoring integrations.
- Automate secure, reproducible, and self-healing identity infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Implement and harden OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, service-to-service authentication, and fine-grained access control.
- Use AI developer tools and LLM workflows for code generation, refactoring, unit-test generation, and engineering best practices.
- Lead RFCs and architecture reviews, deliver critical initiatives, and mentor engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership at a Staff or Principal level in IAM, security, or core infrastructure.
- Deep production experience extending, scaling, and operating Keycloak, along with mastery of Java and JVM internals.
- Proven experience incorporating AI tools and LLM workflows into daily software development, including prompt engineering and automated test generation.
- Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM identity lifecycle management.
- Strong experience building automated deployment pipelines and managing infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience integrating application logs, telemetry, and security events into SIEM solutions.
- Preferred experience with ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes automation, AI-based threat detection, zero-downtime Keycloak upgrades, multi-region deployments, mTLS, and fine-grained authorization frameworks.
