Responsibilities

Develop and support a high-performance, stable cloud platform based on OpenStack with a focus on networking.
Implement foundational infrastructure components and design scalable backend services for the IaaS platform.
Contribute cloud networking features, performance improvements, and bug fixes to Open vSwitch, OVN, Linux Kernel, and OpenStack open-source projects.
Perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify sustainable solutions.
Automate and continuously optimize technical process workflows.
Implement observability using metrics, tracing, and structured logging for debugging and performance analysis.

Solid experience with Linux and containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
Hands-on experience with software-defined networking technologies such as Open vSwitch, OVN, and Calico.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a structured approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.
Proficiency in programming and scripting, particularly C/C++, Python, and Bash.
Experience with virtualization and containerization environments and their practical applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, dynamic environment where processes are still developing.
Proactive team-oriented approach and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Hybrid work arrangement with attendance at the Bucharest location 1–2 days per month.
