Responsibilities
- Develop and support a high-performance, stable cloud platform based on OpenStack with a focus on networking.
- Implement foundational infrastructure components and design scalable backend services for the IaaS platform.
- Contribute cloud networking features, performance improvements, and bug fixes to Open vSwitch, OVN, Linux Kernel, and OpenStack open-source projects.
- Perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify sustainable solutions.
- Automate and continuously optimize technical process workflows.
- Implement observability using metrics, tracing, and structured logging for debugging and performance analysis.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Linux and containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with software-defined networking technologies such as Open vSwitch, OVN, and Calico.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a structured approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting, particularly C/C++, Python, and Bash.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization environments and their practical applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, dynamic environment where processes are still developing.
- Proactive team-oriented approach and effective written and verbal communication skills.
