Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure and managed services using best practices.
- Develop and maintain reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure with Terraform.
- Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, including cluster resources, scaling, monitoring, and container security.
- Build and maintain Jenkins and GitHub CI/CD pipelines and automate testing, integration, and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot and optimize build, release, and deployment processes.
- Implement security controls and support compliance across cloud and containerized environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline releases and platform operations.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and AWS managed services, including RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, Lambda, and secrets-management services.
- Deep understanding of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience deploying and managing workloads on OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
- Knowledge of networking, cloud security best practices, and monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications, monitoring and logging experience with tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana, and experience with regulated or PCI/DSS-compliant environments are preferred.
