Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure and managed services, including RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, Lambda, and Secrets Manager/Parameter Store.
- Develop and maintain reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure using Terraform.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads on OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, including cluster resources, scaling, monitoring, and container security.
- Build and maintain Jenkins and GitHub CI/CD pipelines and automate testing, integration, and deployment workflows.
- Implement security controls and compliance practices across cloud and containerized environments.
- Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure, build, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline releases and improve platform reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and AWS managed services.
- Deep understanding of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience deploying and managing workloads on OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
- Strong scripting skills with Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking, cloud security best practices, and monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are a bonus.
- Experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana is a bonus.
- Experience in highly regulated environments or with PCI/DSS compliance is a bonus.
