Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of features for the Forescout eyeSight product line.
- Develop complex enterprise software features using detailed designs, coding standards, and quality expectations.
- Design, implement, test, document, and deliver production software that is ready to deploy.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product management, and cross-functional teams on product strategy and roadmap development.
- Work in a Scrum team to deliver complete, tested, and documented solutions.
- Mentor junior members of the development team.
- Evaluate and explain emerging security technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience developing software with Java.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering production software.
- Experience designing, implementing, testing, documenting, and delivering enterprise-grade software.
- Experience with Java and Perl, Python, or a similar scripting language.
- Experience with Linux and Windows, with a strong preference for Linux.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SSH, and the OSI model.
- Spring framework and API development experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.
