Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and expand Skydio Cloud’s core data model and API for drones and docks.
- Build core features for the customer-facing web app, including fleet health and asset management.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable features.
- Design robust software for processing petabytes of real-time data from drone fleets.
- Uphold and improve engineering standards through code reviews and post-mortems.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure platform availability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
- Proficiency in building scalable and secure cloud-based applications.
- Experience with modern cloud technologies and software lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Python, Go, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Typescript, and React is preferred.
- Experience with geospatial data and visualization tools is a plus.
