Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build, test, validate, automate, and deploy security controls for Microsoft Azure resources and AWS services.
- Use CSPM tools to assess cloud workload posture and compliance in a CI/CD environment.
- Assess, implement, document, and operationalize cloud security solutions and processes.
- Integrate enterprise security standards, policies, configurations, and architectures into cloud software deployment pipelines.
- Analyze workloads and application security posture to determine readiness for production.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, the SOC, Cloud Product teams, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code teams, and operational partners.
- Refine backlog items, define priorities and sizing, support roadmap planning, and participate in agile planning sessions.
- Provide production engineering support, create implementation and configuration documentation, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Typically 5+ years of industry-relevant experience; comparable education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Deep enterprise experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud services and public cloud security controls.
- Experience with cloud security gap analysis, security control testing, and securing cloud workloads.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Expertise with Git and branching workflows.
- Expertise in SQL or SQL-type query languages.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, problem solving, technical troubleshooting, and project leadership skills.
- Preferred certifications include Azure Fundamentals AZ-900, Azure Security Engineer Associate AZ-500, and AWS Cloud Security Engineer.
