Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
- Define and improve mobile architecture, scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Diagnose complex technical issues, optimize app performance, and resolve delivery blockers.
- Design native module integrations and contribute hands-on code to complex features.
- Configure and streamline mobile deployment pipelines where needed.
- Establish code quality standards, promote engineering best practices, and mentor peers.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI designers, backend teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven senior-level experience owning complex features and delivering production-ready mobile applications.
- Comprehensive hands-on experience with React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and native module integration.
- Proficiency with modern state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI design, performance optimization, and fluid user interactions.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or React Native Testing Library.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and optimize performance across iOS and Android.
- Strong communication, peer-guidance, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, native Swift/Objective-C/Kotlin/Java code, real-time sports data, WebSocket connections, or 3D graphics is preferred but not required.
