Responsibilities
- Own the design, architecture, and implementation of the mobile application across iOS and Android.
- Build camera control, session management, recording, local storage, multi-device coordination, and resilient media and data transfer capabilities.
- Integrate native computer vision components and backend services into cross-platform mobile applications.
- Manage releases across environments, including App Store submissions, testing tracks, and release processes.
- Implement monitoring, crash reporting, and observability for field-deployed products.
- Maintain scalable, maintainable, testable code and collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Computer Vision teams.
- Contribute to planning, estimation, delivery activities, stakeholder communication, and AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience developing mobile applications.
- Experience delivering and maintaining applications through the full software lifecycle, from concept through production release.
- Experience shipping applications to the App Store and/or Google Play Store.
- Strong experience with cross-platform mobile technologies such as React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Strong React and TypeScript experience, plus experience with native iOS and Android development using Swift and Kotlin.
- Experience designing and architecting mobile applications and integrating native functionality into cross-platform applications.
- Experience with mobile camera functionality, media capture, local storage, variable network conditions, backend services, and APIs.
- Preferred experience includes CI/CD pipelines, automated mobile releases, unit and integration testing, Git workflows, code review, Jira, design systems, real-time systems, computer vision or machine learning integration, and multi-device coordination.
