Responsibilities
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions involving platform security, sharing, visibility, data models, Flows, Apex, CPQ, web services, Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
- Configure and implement Salesforce CPQ capabilities including products, pricing rules, discounting, contracts, quote templates, renewals, and related Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Mentor, guide, and support developers while leading delivery of projects and features.
- Conduct code reviews, manage merges and conflicts, develop adequate tests, and participate in deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce issues using Developer Console, Workbench, debug logs, and related tools.
- Assist with estimates and project plans, size stories, deliver work on schedule, and escalate blockers.
- Keep current with Salesforce technologies, related tools, development practices, and architecture standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Salesforce solution, design, and development experience in an enterprise environment, including Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce sharing, security, visibility, data models, Flows, and other platform features.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud; Experience Cloud is a plus.
- Experience configuring and implementing Salesforce CPQ, including products, features, options, configuration attributes, product rules, pricing rules, and lookup queries.
- Experience with Salesforce discounting, contracts, quote templates, renewals, and the Quote-to-Cash domain.
- Experience with CPQ or billing platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Conga, Industry CPQ, Zuora, Salesforce Billing, or Conga Billing.
- Experience leading development teams delivering projects or features.
- Advanced understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications; Salesforce CPQ certification is a plus.
- Engineering or equivalent educational background.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder management, communication, independent-work, adaptability, and learning skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, GitHub, version control, or Salesforce CI/CD tools such as Copado is a bonus.
