
Lead Software Engineer
Cadence Design SystemsResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain C/C++ software for hardware-software co-simulation, including compiler and runtime components.
- Support existing features and develop new capabilities for Transaction-Based Acceleration technology.
- Work on next-generation Palladium and Protium emulation and prototyping systems.
- Collaborate with field application engineers to build and deploy high-performance TBA solutions.
- Debug system-level issues and work effectively with global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field; a premier institute is preferred.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with Linux and C/C++.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreaded programming.
- SystemVerilog experience is a plus; familiarity with UVM, SC/TLM, and debugging RTL on simulation or emulation platforms is preferred.
- Working knowledge of RTL logic synthesis is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, debugging, attention-to-detail, and collaboration skills.
- For AI-assisted development, ability to fine-tune prompts and review AI output.
