Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules across multiple business domains.
- Develop Python features and enhancements using the Odoo framework with emphasis on quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Build and maintain third-party integrations using REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, and other integration methods.
- Optimize application performance, PostgreSQL queries, and system scalability.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and apply software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, manage Odoo module migrations and upgrades, and maintain system stability.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and documentation while mentoring junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Odoo/ERP development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations using REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and application architecture.
- Experience with Git, modern version control workflows, Linux environments, and software deployment processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and architectural discussion experience is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Java and/or the Spring Framework is a plus.
