Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test scripts for user stories, tasks, and user acceptance testing.
- Execute testing and provide detailed pass/fail documentation for every product backlog item.
- Recommend QA best practices and explain test results to development and technical teams.
- Develop and implement Software Quality Assurance Plans and support quality audits and compliance activities.
- Review system documentation and data to understand and summarize existing functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams through phone, web conference, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ensure end-state functionality is understood before work enters a sprint.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required for the federal government position.
- Must reside and perform work in the United States.
- Active Public Trust clearance is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
- At least 3 years of IT experience and 3 years of experience testing product backlog items with pass/fail documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of QA plan development, QA leadership, system quality audits, quality-data analysis, and test-script authoring.
- At least 2 years of agile-environment experience and experience creating UAT test scripts are preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, autonomous, proactive, and highly communicative skills are required.
