Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals and product direction into technical requirements, architecture, and detailed designs.
  • Lead multi-engineer, cross-team projects and mentor engineers on project management and prioritization.
  • Build, deploy, operate, and maintain scalable vulnerability management and security services across AWS.
  • Lead engineering design reviews and establish technical best practices.
  • Perform data analysis to optimize services and improve visibility and tracking of security exposures.
  • Partner with AWS service teams, compliance teams, and application security teams to identify and mitigate security risks.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
