Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate business goals and product direction into technical requirements, architecture, and detailed designs.
- Lead multi-engineer, cross-team projects and mentor engineers on project management and prioritization.
- Build, deploy, operate, and maintain scalable vulnerability management and security services across AWS.
- Lead engineering design reviews and establish technical best practices.
- Perform data analysis to optimize services and improve visibility and tracking of security exposures.
- Partner with AWS service teams, compliance teams, and application security teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
