Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, optimize, and support enterprise security solutions, architecture, standards, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Design and manage cloud security controls and security assessments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Administer endpoint protection, EDR/XDR, email security, vulnerability management, SIEM, and SOAR platforms.
- Develop and tune detection rules, analytics, KQL queries, dashboards, workbooks, telemetry integrations, and security use cases.
- Investigate security incidents, endpoint and email threats, conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis, and coordinate remediation.
- Develop automation and orchestration workflows and improve security operations, processes, and platform performance.
- Provide Level 3 technical support for complex security platforms, incidents, and escalations.
- Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to implement secure solutions and drive security initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity Engineering, or a related security engineering role.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions in Microsoft-centric environments.
- Hands-on experience across cloud security, endpoint security, email security, vulnerability management, and SIEM/SOAR platforms.
- Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking, operating systems, identity and access management, authentication protocols, and security architecture principles.
- Experience integrating security solutions through REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, or other enterprise integration technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Security Operations Analyst Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Information Protection Administrator Associate, and Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Preferred technical experience includes Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender products, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Intune, cloud security services, KQL, Azure Logic Apps, vulnerability management tools, MITRE ATT&CK, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
