Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver partner integrations for global pay-in and pay-out networks.
- Build well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient software solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while verifying correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Own service operational health, including on-call responsibilities, SLOs, and incident response.
- Lead features involving multiple engineers, mentor new hires, conduct interviews, and provide code reviews.
- Drive task breakdowns, estimates, tradeoff discussions, technical specifications, design reviews, and technical roadmap decisions.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and global partners to address customer-facing technical problems.
- Promote engineering best practices and technical excellence across the company.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining consumer software products.
- At least 2 years of experience working with services deployed on a commercial cloud provider such as AWS.
- At least 1 year of experience leading features with multiple engineers.
- Production experience using AI tools to accelerate code construction, testing, and documentation.
- Experience migrating legacy services to modernized architecture.
- Expertise in Java, GoLang, or other general-purpose programming languages.
- Expertise with large-scale database systems such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
- Expertise with monitoring systems such as Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics.
- Experience making technical architecture and system design decisions.
- Clear and objective writing and in-person communication skills.
- Payments or fintech experience is preferred.
