Base Salary
$150k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and propose technical solutions that meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Develop and unit test new or modified functionality across the software development lifecycle.
- Build and maintain low-latency trading applications, matching engines, routing systems, and backend systems.
- Develop, validate, productionize, and optimize machine learning models within latency-sensitive trading infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, project managers, business teams, and sales teams.
- Perform integration, functional, and regression testing and resolve priority defects.
- Promote software changes through environments into live production.
- Provide business-hours and rotating off-hours on-call technical support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement exercises and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on C/C++ development on Linux.
- 2+ years of scripting experience with technologies such as Python, Perl, or Bash.
- Experience with C++ unit testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.
- Experience with code analysis and coverage tools such as Coverity, Valgrind, and gcov.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and multicast network protocols.
- Strong multithreading and performance-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with gradient boosting or deep learning models is a plus.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar, including prompting and generated-code review.
