Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Embed with partner teams to understand their systems, build relationships, and co-design and deliver an initial production path for Rust.
- Teach advanced Rust through pair programming, code reviews, and workshops.
- Help partner teams verify and safely roll out migrated code and prepare to debug and operate Rust in production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience, or one year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Experience with Rust for systems programming and reading and reasoning about large C++ codebases.
- Experience with operating systems, concurrency, memory management, and networking.
- Preferred: experience with data structures and algorithms, accessible technologies, C or C++ migration to Rust, C++/Rust interoperability, AI coding agents, or contributions to the Rust ecosystem.
