Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support scalable features for complex analytical applications.
- Build reusable, secure, accessible, and performant UI components and workflows using React and related front-end technologies.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and service interactions across software components.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, API, and UI tests and supporting automation.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, debugging, and technical discussions.
- Contribute to CI/CD, build, deployment, troubleshooting, and cloud-based development workflows.
- Resolve product defects and customer-impacting issues through root-cause analysis and maintainable fixes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members through reviews, design discussions, and engineering support.
- Communicate progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers while collaborating with local and global teams.
- Evaluate technologies and practices that improve product quality, developer productivity, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting multi-tier software applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Golang, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, React hooks, and modern web application development.
- Experience designing scalable UI components, REST APIs, and interactions across multiple services or software components.
- Knowledge of clean code, object-oriented design, modular design, data structures, and common design patterns.
- Experience with unit, integration, API, and UI testing and automated test frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices and Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills across UI, API, and service layers.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized applications, distributed environments, CI/CD, microservices, observability, logging, and monitoring.
- Experience with analytical, machine learning, text analytics, data management, or enterprise-scale software products is beneficial.
- Awareness of accessibility, internationalization, performance, security, and usability for enterprise web applications is beneficial.
- Experience contributing to technical design documents, developer documentation, or engineering knowledge sharing is beneficial.
