Base Salary
$218k - $388k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test advertising software while optimizing the performance of ads frontend interfaces.
- Resolve JavaScript, layout, cross-browser, and compatibility issues.
- Develop and maintain frontend framework runtime and compilation engines for advertising technologies.
- Identify collaboration inefficiencies and develop tools to improve productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from preliminary system analysis through testing and deployment.
- Mentor junior software engineers and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, or an additional two years of related work experience in lieu of the degree.
- At least five years of related work experience.
- Five years of experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed online software services using Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
- Five years of experience designing and implementing user interfaces and scripts to automate common flows using HTML, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Five years of experience maintaining and debugging software services.
- Five years of experience gathering business requirements with cross-functional stakeholders and translating them into technical requirements.
- Five years of experience using agile methodology throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Five years of experience designing and implementing software service architecture for high-throughput and fault-tolerant services.
- Five years of experience using Unix or Linux operating systems.
