Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, operation, and further development of the Kubernetes, DevOps, and Linux platform.
- Develop and operate automated deployment and GitOps pipelines using Forgejo, Rancher Fleet, and Argo CD.
- Automate platform operations with Ansible, AWX, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Ensure stable and secure operations through monitoring, updates, lifecycle management, incident resolution, 2nd-level support, and on-call service.
- Define technical architecture and standards, evaluate new technologies, and continuously improve the platform.
- Collaborate with ICT, application, and development teams, support technical requirements, and maintain clear documentation.
Requirements
- Completed ICT education through vocational training, a university of applied sciences, university, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of system engineering experience with Linux.
- At least three years of experience operating production Kubernetes platforms and working with DevOps, CI/CD, and GitOps.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, SUSE Rancher/RKE2, Git-based DevOps and CI/CD workflows, Ansible/AWX, and Rancher Fleet or Argo CD.
- Experience designing and architecting platform solutions, with strong knowledge of Linux, networks, high availability, and container security.
- CKA/CKS, SUSE Rancher, Red Hat, or cloud certifications are advantageous.
- Independent, reliable, solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility, quality, customer service, and service orientation.
- German proficiency at C2 level and English proficiency at B2 level; French is an advantage.
