Responsibilities

Run and scale Kubernetes clusters, including GPU clusters for training and inference, across cloud and on-premises environments.
Set up compute, networking, permissions, and access for engineering teams.
Host and operate data systems used by product teams.
Build self-service infrastructure tooling, automations, and services primarily in Python.
Lead cluster builds, cloud migrations, and other platform improvements end to end.
Work with research, product, security, and safety engineers to launch and scale reliable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure.

Deep, hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production at scale.
Strong experience with GCP, including designing, building, and migrating cloud infrastructure end to end as an individual contributor.
Strong Python skills and experience solving infrastructure problems with code and automation.
Experience operating stateful systems such as databases and Kafka for other engineering teams.
Solid fundamentals in infrastructure as code, security, and permissions.
Bonus experience with GPU clusters or ML training and inference infrastructure such as vLLM, on-premises or bare-metal systems, deep networking, or cloud-native open-source contributions.
