Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure as version-controlled, reviewed code and establish a safe, auditable change-to-apply process.
- Run and evolve multi-cloud networking, including address planning, private connectivity, peering, transit, VPN, overlapping ranges, and secure access to private resources.
- Operate production Kubernetes and its delivery infrastructure, including clusters, secrets, CI/CD, preview environments, and build performance.
- Own observability, including alert quality, telemetry affordability, dashboard reliability, and cost control.
- Drive security and compliance work to completion with audit-quality evidence.
- Safely operate production relational databases, including patching, failover, auditing, and replication.
- Lead the infrastructure response to production incidents and forensics.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with end-to-end ownership of production systems.
- Experience leading infrastructure-as-code adoption or cleanup in an existing environment, including imports, drift, and state problems.
- Experience running production Kubernetes and a multi-account cloud environment.
- Experience designing and debugging complex cloud networks with peering, transit, VPN, overlapping ranges, and private access.
- Experience operating mission-critical relational databases in production.
- Experience building or rebuilding observability systems and controlling their costs.
- Experience resolving security and compliance findings, such as SOC 2 findings, with audit-worthy evidence.
- Fintech or other regulated-industry experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise or customer-hosted deployments is preferred.
- Experience with cost optimization at scale is preferred.
