Base Salary
$114k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new or revised enterprise application systems and programs.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams on system integration, enhancements, products, and process improvements.
- Resolve complex, high-impact technical challenges involving distributed systems and business processes.
- Ensure application designs and implementations follow enterprise architecture, security standards, and coding best practices.
- Develop and govern processes for coding, testing, debugging, CI/CD, and deployment.
- Architect and build secure, scalable, resilient, highly available, multithreaded, and low-latency applications.
- Develop, deploy, and manage applications in containerized environments.
- Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Mentor mid-level developers and software engineers, allocate tasks, and guide technical execution.
- Manage technical deliverables and implement complex projects while assessing and escalating technology and control risks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering and applications development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise application development using C# and .NET or .NET Core.
- 5+ years of database design, optimization, and querying using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience architecting and developing event-driven microservices architectures.
- Experience building multithreaded, low-latency, and high-performance applications.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Git-based source control.
- Experience designing secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available enterprise applications.
- Ability to manage technical deliverables, implement complex projects, and adapt priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: experience in Agile environments, especially Scrum.
- Preferred: experience with Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, SWIFT ISO 20022, ISO 15022, FIX protocol, FileAct, InterAct, gRPC, and RESTful APIs.
