Base Salary
$118k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, research, design, architecture, development, and testing of software features.
- Write production code daily, primarily in Python, and possibly in C++ or JavaScript.
- Work as part of a cross-functional Scrum team with experts in AI/ML, Geospatial Data, Software Engineering, and GIS.
- Collaborate with internal and external users to ensure software product quality and availability.
Requirements
- Meaningful employment experience working on commercial software products.
- Experience writing production code in Python, preferably with large datasets.
- Demonstrated experience or academic output in geospatial data processing, computer vision, AI & machine learning, LiDAR, or robotics.
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, GitHub, AI/ML frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google).
- Nice to have: familiarity with GIS applications, orchestration frameworks, programming in C++ or JavaScript, and Agile processes.
